My background is in cosmetology. Over the years I’ve gained valuable experience with color palettes, color theory, creating focal points with forms and weight, building balance or balanced asymmetry, and have learned the importance of detailed consultations to ensure clear communication of desired end result. Having held positions in different salon settings as well as the hospitality industry, I’ve developed strong skills in fast-paced environments, problem-solving, event coordination, and collaborating effectively as part of a team as well being independently successful. I have also inherited organizational, time management, and customer service skills.

I was constantly immersed in marketing and design through annual beauty shows, brand advertising, fashion publications, and ongoing product launches, packaging updates, and rebranding efforts. Being naturally observant, I was critiquing and admiring all of these creative efforts, forming the need to understand the process and to become capable of producing these myself. So a few years ago, I began the next chapter of my life by pursuing a degree in graphic design. My attention to detail, awareness of current trends, understanding of hierarchy and focal points, and strong knowledge of color impressions aided my work through school as I fell in love with graphic design.

I enjoy all forms of design. Designing for both print and digital platforms, designing type and organizing information, creating muted and simplistic designs as well as bold and complex ones. My process is rooted in the Adobe Creative Suite—particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop—but I am adaptable across various software.

Driven to grow and thrive in my creative journey.
